2026 Custodial Services

The Kent Intermediate School District is seeking a vendor to provide custodial services for several of its buildings, including Pine Grove Learning Center, Empower U Central, Empower U North, Kent Education Center - Beltline, Kent Conference Center, and Maintenance/Receiving Building. The contract will be for a two-year period with the option to renew for two additional years. The vendor will be responsible for providing nightly cleaning services, including trash removal, floor care, and restroom cleaning. The district is looking for a vendor that can provide high-quality services, maintain a clean and safe environment, and be responsive to the needs of the district. • The vendor will be required to provide a detailed cleaning schedule and ensure that all areas are cleaned according to the district's standards. • The vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies. • The vendor will be required to have a staff care program in place to ensure that employees are trained and motivated. • The vendor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules, employee hours, and other relevant information. • The vendor will be required to have a system in place for reporting and addressing any issues or concerns.
