Description
The State of Vermont’s Department of Buildings and General Services (acting for the Agency of Transportation, Rail Bureau) is seeking qualified vendors to supply and deliver precast concrete railroad crossing panels, complete with required hardware, lifting eyes, elastomeric bearing pads, and related accessories. Bidders must provide unit prices, lead‑time, and certifications, and must be able to produce panels that meet stringent structural, dimensional, and material specifications, including a minimum 6000 psi concrete mix, HS20‑44 loading, and professional‑engineer‑signed design calculations. The contract may be awarded to one or more vendors and will be fulfilled FOB to the Agency’s maintenance garage in Castleton, VT. Preference is given to Vermont‑resident manufacturers and firms with clean‑energy practices.
