Description
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking a qualified, DGS‑certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide full‑service biohazard waste removal and disposal for its West Los Angeles Veterans Home. The contract will run from April 1 2027 (or later) through March 31 2030 and requires weekly biohazard waste pickups, monthly pharmaceutical and RCRA waste pickups, and 24‑hour unscheduled pickups. Vendors must submit a detailed quote by October 15 2026, include extensive certifications, insurance, and compliance documentation, and adhere to strict reporting, record‑keeping, and safety protocols.
