The San Bernardino County, Project and Facilities Management Department, is seeking proposals from interested and qualified proposers to provide Fire-Life Safety Systems services. The services include monitoring, testing, maintaining, and repairing of the fire-life safety systems and equipment located at County-owned locations. The contract period will be for a maximum of 5 years, beginning on/around July 1, 2026, and ending on/around June 30, 2031. The County estimates a budget of between $950,000 and $1,050,000 for the completion of this work over the entire 5-year contract period.
Some key points to consider:
• The proposal conference and job walks are mandatory.
• The County has adopted a Local Preference Policy, which gives a 5% preference to local vendors.
• The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it is in the best interest of the County to do so.
• The final authority to award a contract rests solely with the County Board of Supervisors.
