On-Site Inmate Laundry Sanitation Services

The County of Lexington is seeking proposals for on-site inmate laundry sanitation services for the Lexington County Detention Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing laundry services for inmate personal clothing, suicide vests, and other specific laundering needs. The contractor must meet certain criteria, including providing 80 hours of service per week, mandatory staffing between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM, and no staffing between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. The contractor will also be responsible for acquiring, maintaining, and replacing necessary equipment. • The contractor must have all necessary licenses and certifications to perform the work. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services. • The contractor must provide a detailed staffing plan and proposed staffing matrix. • The contractor must provide a cost proposal, including hourly and monthly rates. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxes, and worker's compensation.
