BB-600-250-002 Cooling Tower Infrastructure at William Donald Schaefer Tower

The Department of General Services is seeking bids for the cooling tower infrastructure at the William Donald Schaefer Tower. The project classification is "C" ($500,000 to $1,000,000), and the work shall be completed within 365 calendar days from the start date of the contract. The bid due date is August 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The solicitation is limited to Master Contractors awarded a contract under the Indefinite Quantity Contract to Provide General Construction & Related Services in the central region. • The MBE subcontracting participation goal for this solicitation is 10%. • The VSBE subcontracting participation goal for this solicitation is 5%. • The project requires the completion of various forms, including the Bid/Proposal Affidavit, Bid Bond, MBE Forms, and VSBE Forms. • The contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $550.00 per calendar day if the work is not completed within the specified time period. • The base bid shall include labor, materials, overhead, profit, insurance, and other requirements. • The contract awarded to the successful bidder will be in the form of Attachment K.
