Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from contractors who can provide reference laboratory and esoteric testing services. The services include pickup and transport of specimens, pre-analytic processing, analysis, reporting of results, and consultation. The contractor must provide a full range of reference and esoteric laboratory services, including labor, courier, supplies, equipment, and supervision. The services are required for the VISN 2, Downstate New York and Jersey VA Medical Centers.
• The contractor must have experience in performing tasks of this nature, scope, and complexity.
• The contractor must have certified and/or licensed technicians.
• The contractor must provide proof of applicable certification or training.
• The contractor must have a laboratory capacity and volume to meet the requirements.
• The contractor must be able to interface with VA laboratory information systems.
