Parent Educators for Family Resolution Services

Multnomah County is seeking Parent Educators to teach virtual family and parenting classes to people with child custody and parenting issues before the court. The Parent Educators will present County-developed educational services, materials, and information to parents experiencing the transition of separation, divorce, or conflict related to unresolved parental disputes over the care and custody of children. The scope of work includes presenting information and materials concerning legal issues, child development, conflict resolution strategies, and community resources. The Parent Educators must have the technical expertise, equipment, and reliable internet access necessary to virtually teach classes. • The contract period is 1 to 5 years with options to renew. • The contract will be a requirements contract, and services will be procured based on the County's need and demand. • The County reserves the right to terminate contract negotiations at its discretion at any point. • The Proposer must certify that they agree to the Proposers Representation and Certification terms. • The Proposer must provide a disclosure statement describing any potential organizational conflict of interest.
