Panther Island Phase I Development Partner

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is seeking a development partner for the first phase of mixed-use development opportunities on Panther Island. The project is part of a larger flood control effort, which includes the construction of a bypass channel in the Trinity River to divert flood waters. The development will take place on 54 acres of land owned by the water district. The selected partner will be responsible for the development of this land. Key aspects of the project include: • Flood control and levee removal • Mixed-use development opportunities • Private development of over 54 acres of land • Partnership with the Tarrant Regional Water District
