Description
The Texas School for the Deaf is seeking a third-party Medicaid billing provider to provide Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) and School Health and Related Services (SHARS) services. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, and other necessary items to successfully complete and provide services in accordance with the specifications contained in the RFP and the resulting contract. The scope of work includes developing and implementing a direct service SHARS program, providing administrative support, billing support, reporting support, technical support, and training support. The contractor must have proven experience and expertise in developing and implementing a direct service SHARS program with a working knowledge of Medicaid rate structures, timelines, and regulations.
• The contract term is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms.
• The contractor must provide services in accordance with the requirements specified in the RFP and the resulting contract.
• The contractor must comply with all laws, ordinances, statues, and regulations as they pertain to the services requested in the RFP.
• The contractor must obtain all permits, licenses, or other authorization as may be required to fulfill the services requested in the RFP.
• The contractor must not subject any person to discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, disability, or political affiliation.
