Description
The Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) is seeking a service contract for their Leica Confocal microscope, which is used for data collection across multiple projects. The contract will be awarded to Leica Microsystems Inc., the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and the need for specialized technicians. The contract will have a base year and four optional years, spanning a total of five years. The Premium Care Service Plan package includes unlimited service visits, replacement parts, annual on-site planned maintenance, and access to expert support.
Key features of the contract include:
• Unlimited service visits by a Leica-Microsystems trained and qualified field service engineer
• Unlimited replacement service parts, components, or modules necessary for repairs, excluding consumables
• Annual on-site planned maintenance visit to ensure the system is performing to factory specifications
• Unlimited access to expert Applications and Technology Support Center
• Biosafety Level 2 included
• Software updates
• 10% discount on non-contract related services
