The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is seeking a cloud-based, on-demand SaaS solution to modernize its Educator Licensure System. The new system should provide real-time licensure services to educators, public school units, and NCDPI staff. Key features include self-service capabilities, an interface for NCDPI staff to evaluate and process licenses, dashboard features for data analysis, and a workflow solution to simplify and expedite complex business processes. The system should be able to handle approximately 117,000 teacher and administrator licenses and provide access to licensure data for various stakeholders. The proposed solution should be scalable, secure, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
