Description
The State of Illinois, Department of Human Services, is seeking a vendor to provide cafeteria equipment for various pieces of cafeteria equipment necessary for the establishment and maintenance of vending facilities managed by blind vendors of the program. This allows the program to continue to operate successfully under the federally mandated Randolph Sheppard Act to provide vending business opportunities to visually impaired/blind individuals. The contract is a renewal in accordance with the terms of the existing contract, with a total renewal amount of $86,617.40. The renewal period is from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
• The vendor will provide cafeteria equipment for use in the operation of cafeterias, snack bars, and ancillary use in vending locations throughout the state of Illinois.
• The vendor will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the equipment.
