RFP Provide Comprehensive Legal Advice RE progressive design-build and other appropriate project delivery systems

The City of Los Angeles is seeking proposals from qualified law firms to provide comprehensive legal services and advice regarding progressive design-build and other alternative project delivery systems. The selected firm will assist the City Attorney's Office in providing legal advice and services to the City and its departments/bureaus in connection with the Pure Water Los Angeles (PWLA) Program at the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant. The proposal should include a statement of qualification, proposed budget, and information on the firm's experience and expertise in representing municipalities in California. • The scope of work includes advising on competitive solicitation documents, evaluating proposals, and negotiating agreements. • The firm should have experience in litigation and environmental law, particularly in representing municipalities before the Water Boards. • The proposal should include information on the firm's approach to conflicts of interest, non-discrimination, and affirmative action. • The City reserves the right to verify information, reject false statements, and terminate contracts for non-compliance.
