Description
The State Highway Administration is seeking a contractor to provide plumbing maintenance and repair services at the La Plata Maintenance Facility. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to satisfactorily execute and complete the project. The contract will be for a period of 24 months, and the contractor must have a current active State of Maryland Master Plumber/Gas Fitter License and at least 5 years of experience in providing commercial plumbing work.
• The contractor must have a minimum of one master plumber with 5 years of technical experience in conducting commercial plumbing work, as well as at least one helper or apprentice with the ability to assist the master plumber when required.
• The contractor must provide documentation of certification, licenses, and experience for all staff working under this contract prior to award.
• The contractor must submit three references with the bid, the name, address, telephone number, and point-of-contact of at least three firms, for which the bidder provided commercial plumbing services within the preceding 24 months.
• The contractor must conform to federal, state, county, and local codes, rules, and regulations, and meet all Federal EPA, OSHA, and MDE guidelines in the performance of work and proper handling and disposal of waste and/or contaminated materials.
