Description
The Griffin-Spalding County School System is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide kitchen maintenance services to all 21 cafeteria sites. The selected vendor will work collaboratively with the School Nutrition staff to ensure all work described is adequately performed. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a pattern of prompt and regular service, completing all types of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installation projects, and complying with state law, applicable codes, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a pattern of prompt and regular service when called.
• Complete all types of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installation projects for the nutrition department.
• Loads, unloads, and moves kitchen equipment.
• Unclogs drains.
• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen appliances such as stoves, dishwashers, vent hoods, combi ovens, walk-in freezers, walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers, reach-in coolers, warmers, ice machines, booster heaters, steamers, and other kitchen appliances.
• Provide quality customer service for the purpose of maintaining an effective and efficient work environment.
