IFB No. 125420 Backflow Replacement & Testing, Modesto Armory *SB and or DVBE Only*

The California Military Department is seeking a certified SB, including MB, SB-PW, or DVBE contractor to replace and test one backflow device at the Modesto Armory. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees. The work must be completed within 180 calendar days. The contractor must possess a C-36 - Plumbing Contractor license and meet other minimum qualifications. • The contractor must submit a bid bond in the amount of at least 10% of the bid amount. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance providing proof of insurance to the California Military Department within ten working days from the date of notification of award. • The contractor must comply with various laws and regulations, including the Darfur Contracting Act and the Iran Contracting Act. • The contractor must ensure that energy-consuming products are energy efficient products. • The contractor must make maximum use of products containing recovered materials that are EPA-designated items.
