LGA Visual Monitoring Security Upgrades

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to perform security upgrades at the LGA Visual Monitoring Project. The work includes installing new security barriers, such as fences and gates, and performing various concrete and electrical tasks. The contractor will be required to follow strict safety protocols and guidelines, including those outlined in the US Army Corps of Engineers' safety manual, EM 385-1-1. The contractor must also provide a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and conduct regular safety meetings and training. Some key aspects of the project include: • Installing new security fences and gates, including motor-operated cantilevered gates and pedestrian gates • Performing concrete saw cutting, demolition, and new concrete work • Installing miscellaneous concrete footings and bollards • Performing electrical work, including the installation of rigid metallic conduit and underground PVC conduit • Coordinating with the US Army Corps of Engineers to ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines • Providing a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan and conducting regular safety meetings and training
