Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Radiometer America Inc - ABL90 Blood Gas OEM Service Repair & Maintenance

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Radiometer America Inc. for preventative maintenance and repair services for ABL90 blood gas machines at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The contract is required to ensure that clinic operations can run efficiently in support of patient care while also maintaining warranties, product liability claims, and utilizing OEM reagents, accessories, and quality control materials. • The contract is for preventative maintenance and repair services for ABL90 blood gas machines. • The machines are currently installed and in use in the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. • The contract is intended to ensure that clinic operations can run efficiently in support of patient care. • The contract will also maintain warranties, product liability claims, and utilize OEM reagents, accessories, and quality control materials.
