Description
The project involves the removal of an existing greenhouse and the construction of a new one at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility. The new greenhouse will be approximately 24’ by 84’ and will have automated ventilation controls, locked man-doors, heating, electrical, lighting, utility sink, and connections for irrigation system. The project also includes the repair and replacement of components of an existing greenhouse to remain. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing all materials and equipment necessary for the completion of the project.
• The project requires the contractor to have experience with greenhouse construction and repair.
• The contractor must also have knowledge of automated ventilation controls, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• The project includes a mandatory pre-bid conference and site tour.
• The contractor must submit a bid bond and a performance bond.
• The project has a liquidated damages clause for delays in completion.
