Description
The City of Piqua is seeking bids for the replacement of four garage doors at the Public Works Department. The project includes replacing all sections with no glass panels, painting the doors to match the owner's selection, and adding new weatherstripping around the doors. The successful bidder will be expected to commence work upon satisfying all purchasing agreements. The project is locally funded, and local preference will apply. The City of Piqua reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in a bid.
• The project includes four garage doors: two at the Administration Building and two at the Storage Building.
• The replacement doors will use existing hardware, including torsion springs.
• The bidder must provide a price for the work, including all shipping costs.
• The bidder must have and maintain current workers' compensation insurance, comprehensive general liability, and automobile insurance.
• The City of Piqua is exempt from payment of federal excise taxes and state retail sales taxes.
