The Department of Youth Services is seeking a staff secure residential revocation program designed to provide an individualized approach to education, clinical, and support services that help youth identify strategies to improve insight and decision making, and make observable changes in their behavior that promote successful community reentry and reduce their chance of re-offending. The program will serve youth who have previously completed a period of individualized treatment and have been unsuccessful in meeting the requirements established for their supervision in a community setting. Key aspects of the program include:
• Providing a safe and secure environment for the youth
• Offering individualized education, clinical, and support services
• Focusing on pro-social skill training and family engagement
• Ensuring the program has the capacity to serve youth from any of the DYS regions, as needed during the life of the contract
• Meeting the requirements outlined in the RFR, including program specifications, safety and security, clinical services, and evaluation criteria.
