Description
The National Defense University (NDU) is seeking a contractor to provide high-level catering services for two events per year, specifically the International Student Management Office (ISMO) Spring Graduate Reception and Fall Reception, hosted by the NDU President. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary to plan, support, and execute formal standing receptions at Fort McNair, Marshall Hall Atrium, or an alternative location provided by the university. The events will have approximately 450 guests and will require catering services, wait staff, audio/visual support, and decorations.
• The contractor must provide a menu that meets the dietary requirements of international students, including vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free options.
• The contractor must ensure that all food adheres to safety and health code requirements.
• The contractor must provide standing tables, linens, and decorations for up to 450 guests.
• The contractor must provide audio/visual capability, including voice projection and podium.
• The contractor must provide lighting for the venue, including spotlights and keylights.
• The contractor must communicate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for any required clarification of requirements.
• The contractor must accommodate specific nutritional requirements, including vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free options.
