Provision of VMware Cloud Licensing and Live Recovery Protection on a Multi-Year Contract

* The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the provision of VMware Cloud Licensing and Live Recovery Protection on a multi-year contract. * The contract will commence upon award and will have an initial term through December 31, 2026, with the option to renew for up to five years. * The selected vendor will be required to provide VMware vCenter, vSphere, Virtual Machine (VM), and VMware Live Recovery Protection licenses. * The vendor must be an authorized reseller of VMware and provide support from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Eastern Time Zone), Monday through Friday. * The contract requires the vendor to provide a weekly report stating the status of all pending orders and to respond to pricing and product information requests within four hours. * The county reserves the right to add or remove additional VMware products/licenses throughout the duration of the contract. * The number of licenses purchased/renewed will depend on approved projects, budgets, etc. * The vendor must provide a Manufacturer Letter of Authorization with their bid, showing that they are an authorized reseller of VMware. * The bid schedule includes pricing for VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Live Recovery, and Technical Adoption Manager. * The county requires a minimum of three references where work of a similar size and scope has been completed. * The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with consideration given to the quality of the articles to be supplied, their conformity with the specifications, and their suitability to the requirements of the county.
