Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for New Jersey Transit’s Rail Operations Center (ROC) in Kearny, NJ. The work includes daily cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, lobby areas, elevators, exterior walkways, and specialized zones such as data centers and dispatcher theatres, as well as periodic deep‑cleaning, carpet shampooing, window washing, and waste/recycling management. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, one‑year base period with up to four optional one‑year extensions, and includes a mandatory 20 % Small Business Enterprise / Disabled Veteran‑Owned Business participation goal. Bidders must submit a 10 % bid bond and complete extensive certifications (non‑collusion, eligibility, EEO, SBE/DVOB, etc.) before the electronic bid deadline.
• Daily janitorial tasks (vacuuming, mopping, restroom stocking, trash removal) for a ~60,000 sq ft facility.
• Weekly, monthly, semi‑annual, and annual deep‑cleaning activities (carpet shampoo, strip‑and‑wax, window cleaning).
• Mandatory SBE/DVOB goal of 20 % of the contract value, with required Form A, A‑1, A‑2, B and, if needed, D submissions.
