Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a construction project to prepare a site for Choice Dining equipment at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center campus. The project involves renovating existing kitchen spaces and supporting areas, including demolition, renovation, and installation of new equipment and utilities. The project must be completed in a phased manner to maintain uninterrupted medical care services. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to execute the scope of work.
• The project includes selective demolition and removal of existing systems, finishes, and food production equipment
• Renovation and reconfiguration of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements
• Relocation and reuse of existing kitchen equipment
• Installation of new kitchen equipment utility connections
• HVAC modifications and electrical upgrades
• Fire protection system modifications and hazardous materials abatement
The contractor must have experience with similar projects and be capable of performing a contract of this magnitude and complexity.
