Description
The City of West Fargo is seeking proposals for software and consulting services to implement a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system. The goal of the project is to take advantage of the newest technology and harness efficiencies by reviewing current processes and implementing technology to enhance processes performed by City departments. The City is looking to replace its current software system environment with a new system or combination of software systems and will adopt systems functionality to support core processes. The selected vendor will be responsible for implementing the new system, providing training and support, and ensuring a smooth transition. Key objectives and outcomes include enhancing operational effectiveness, utilizing information technology to consolidate costs and ongoing maintenance, improving internal and external communications, refining business processes based on best practices, and increasing productivity by eliminating redundancy and unnecessary tasks.
