The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) is seeking a contractor to provide, install, and maintain an unprotected transparent leased 10GB wave trunk between two locations in Washington state. The trunk will support a SONET OC-192 and must be engineered and provisioned to be totally diverse end-to-end. The contractor must ensure that the quote includes sufficient detail for effective evaluation and provide convincing rationale to address how they intend to meet the requirement. The contract will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest combined life cycle cost and technical acceptability of quotes. • The contractor must provide a leased 10GB wave trunk between the DISA IE1 switch building 2700, room A1001, 1280 West Intruder Street, Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, WA, and the DISA IE1 switch building 6071, switch room, North 16th and Colorado Avenue, Joint Base Lewis/McChord (JBLM), WA. • The trunk must support a SONET OC-192 and be totally diverse end-to-end. • The contractor must ensure that the quote includes sufficient detail for effective evaluation and provide convincing rationale to address how they intend to meet the requirement. • The contract will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest combined life cycle cost and technical acceptability of quotes.
