Description
The City of Orange is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, and execute a full‑service fireworks display for its Annual 3rd of July Celebration. The contractor must provide all pyrotechnic materials, licensed personnel, set‑up, safety inspections, audio synchronization, breakdown, and site cleanup. The primary event is scheduled for July 3 2027 at Grijalva Park, with optional extensions through 2030. The City will supply the venue, security, utilities, and the audio system; the contractor is responsible for all fireworks‑related logistics, permits, insurance, and compliance.
• Provide a ~14‑minute fireworks show (≈ 2,280 shots + finale) with music cue files delivered ≥ 30 days prior.
• Perform on‑site set‑up (arrive 10 a.m.), fire department inspection (2 p.m.), display (4‑9:30 p.m.), breakdown (by 11:30 p.m.), and cleanup (by July 4).
• Must meet insurance (≥ $5 M general liability, auto, workers comp) and licensing requirements; include all documentation in the proposal.
• Optional multi‑year extensions (2028‑2030) possible, each subject to council approval.
