Description
The Cherokee Nation Entertainment, LLC is seeking a qualified veterinarian to provide veterinary medicine and consultation for horses in the test barn and backside at Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, OK. The selected firm will be required to provide a veterinarian and licensed vet tech for all race days and meets running under HISA regulations. The contract will start on January 1st, 2026, and end on May 15th, 2026.
• The veterinarian should have at least 1 year of experience around or on a horse racetrack.
• The veterinarian and vet tech should be registered through HISA/HIWU and follow the requirements under HISA/HIWU.
• The selected firm will not be compensated for any race days or meets not running under HISA regulations.
• The selected firm will be required to uphold an Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission License.
