Description
The Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the selection of a general contractor to provide general construction and construction administration services for the Fire Alarm Upgrades project at the Austin State Supported Living Center. The scope of work includes the installation of a new fire alarm system, demolition of the old system, and installation of new underground fiber lines.
• The project location is 2203 W. 35th Street, Building 533 and 723, Austin, TX.
• The project estimate is approximately $280,000.00.
• Mandatory pre-proposal webinars will be held on April 17 and 22, 2026.
• An optional facility site visit will be held on April 24, 2026.
• The deadline for submitting questions is April 28, 2026, and the deadline for submission of proposals is May 15, 2026.
