Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to award a sole source contract to the University of Connecticut for a clinical engineering internship program at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The program will provide one clinical engineering intern for a two-year educational/work internship. The intern will perform tasks such as analyzing the medical equipment management program, co-managing medical equipment systems installation projects, and completing an engineering technical or management project. The contract period will be for one base year with four one-year option periods. The total estimated value for the base year and options is $681,698.00.
