Description
The Employees' Retirement System of the State of Hawaii is seeking a vendor to provide publication design and printing services for their quarterly Holomua newsletter. The contract will be for a three-year term with optional two one-year extensions. The vendor will be responsible for editing, copywriting, layout, design, and printing of the newsletter. They will also be required to provide PDF files for the ERS website and hard copies for distribution. The vendor must have experience in editing and printing similar types of publications and must have an office presence in Hawaii.
• The vendor will be responsible for coordinating print production, including working with ERS and the copywriter, and reviewing and editing all proofs for grammar and spelling.
• The vendor will be required to provide a detailed Gantt-type schedule in their proposal, including approximate processing dates for articles, first proof, edit deadlines, and mailing list.
• The vendor will be responsible for printing and distributing approximately 68,000 pieces per quarter.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Hawaii Electronic Information Technology Disability Access Standards.
• The vendor must provide a full proposal, including company background, core competencies, and resumes of key personnel.
