Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide coach bus transportation services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) in New Jersey. The contractor will be required to provide four passenger coach buses, with the capability to provide an additional four buses within 24 hours of notice. The services will operate 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, and will include transportation between the Passenger Terminal, the Deployment Transition Center, designated airports, and daily morale/wellness outings to Center City Philadelphia, PA and the American Dream Mall, NJ. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, vehicles, fuel, maintenance, and management necessary to perform the required transportation services.
Some key requirements for this opportunity include:
• Providing coach buses that meet minimum safety standards, including compliance with New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) safety requirements and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
• Ensuring all drivers hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and pass required background checks to obtain JBMDL base access
• Operating buses 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, to support recurring transportation missions
• Providing transportation for morale/wellness outings to Center City Philadelphia, PA and the American Dream Mall, NJ
• Ensuring all vehicles remain fully mission-capable throughout the performance period
