Description
The City of Columbus, Division of Water, is seeking bids for professional laboratory fume hood certification services. The vendor will provide an on-site evaluation and certification of the Water Quality Assurance Laboratory's fume hoods. The scope of work includes:
• Providing an on-site evaluation and certification of the Water Quality Assurance Laboratory’s fume hoods
• Calibrating all primary test instruments to be NIST traceable
• Producing a Certification Report for each fume hood to document the evaluation
• Documenting device information, airflow profile, pass/fail determination, and comments/corrective actions in the Certification Report
The quantity estimate is for a total of seventeen (17) enclosures, including fifteen (15) ducted fume hoods, one (1) laminar flow hood, and one (1) biosafety cabinet. Multiple purchase orders may be issued from this RFQ if follow-up is required based on the initial test results.
