Description
The City of Rockford is seeking a vendor to provide towing and storage services for the City. The vendor will be responsible for providing towing services, including winching, flatbed towing, and labor assistance, as well as storage services for vehicles. The vendor must have a valid Illinois towing license and relocators license, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The contract will be for a period of time that is not specified, with an option for renewal or extension.
• The vendor must have a business office located within 10 miles of the geographical boundaries of the City of Rockford.
• The vendor must have a telephone answering machine or voicemail to receive customer phone calls.
• The vendor must provide vehicle immobilization services upon request.
• The vendor must have a system in place for releasing vehicles to the rightful owner or authorized person.
• The vendor must maintain complete records of all tows and storage services provided.
