STONE, SAND, AND SOIL

The City of Chesapeake is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to furnish and deliver various types of stone, sand, and soil for various City departments. The contract will have a term of one year with four one-year renewal option periods. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards as a result of this solicitation. The award(s) will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s), based on Lots of Section, PRICING SCHEDULE, and meeting the requirements of the solicitation. • The contractor shall furnish and deliver the following materials: 21A Aggregate (Crusher Run); Stone, Rip-Rap, Small; #57 Crushed Stone; #8 Crushed Stone; Concrete Sand (ASTM C-33); VDOT Class 'A' Red Concrete Sand; Pea Gravel; #10 Screenings (Stone Dust); Sifted Topsoil; and Fill Sand, Types I, II, and III. • The contractor shall provide pricing for all items in a lot, though it is not necessary to bid on all lots. • The contractor shall deliver the materials to various locations in the City of Chesapeake. • The contractor shall provide a certification of compliance with immigration laws and regulations. • The contractor shall provide a litigation disclosure form. • The contractor shall provide proof of insurance, including workers' compensation, employer's liability, commercial general liability, and automobile liability. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
