Description
The Pender Airport Authority is seeking a consultant for airfield development projects at the Pender Municipal Airport. The projects include removing and replacing runway lighting, installing perimeter fencing, constructing a box hangar, and pavement rehabilitation. The consultant will provide services such as preliminary design, final design, bidding, construction observation, and incidental special services. The selection process will be based on qualifications, and the agreement will be subject to Federal Contract Provisions for A/E Agreements.
• The consultant must have experience with FAA standards, policies, and procedures.
• The consultant must have relevant experience with comparable projects at similarly sized airports.
• The consultant must have a history of meeting schedules and staying within budget.
• The consultant must have an understanding of the project's potential challenges and the Sponsor's concerns.
