Infrastructure move to Cloud

The State of Ohio is seeking to transition its current on-premises infrastructure to a cloud-based environment hosted by one of the following providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The State invites offerors to submit a comprehensive proposal that includes a detailed cost estimate, demonstrated experience and references for successful migrations of Oracle PeopleSoft applications and related system components to the cloud, and a proposed solution that aligns with the State’s service level expectations, performance goals, security standards, and operational requirements. Key aspects of the project include: * Transitioning the State’s Oracle PeopleSoft Financial and Human Resource applications to a cloud-based infrastructure * Minimizing system re-architecture and preferring a "lift and shift" approach * Reducing the total cost of operations and moving to a consumption-based model * Staying contemporary on infrastructure technology and taking advantage of auto-scaling and right-sizing strategies * Optimizing operations and performance, and improving data and operations security * Rapidly deploying and scaling services for future growth and business cycle bursts * Improving disaster recovery capabilities and enhancing the OAKS image and public perception
