Description
The Alabama National Guard is seeking a qualified vendor to perform annual roof‑inspection services at thirty‑eight Guard facilities throughout the state’s North Region. The work is limited to inspections, documentation, and the preparation of repair scope‑of‑work reports; no actual repair work is covered under this contract. The contract is a fixed‑price, award‑to‑lowest‑responsible‑bidder arrangement with a one‑year base period and up to four optional one‑year extensions, each requiring written approval 30 days prior to expiration. Vendors must hold a valid Alabama business license, maintain a physical presence in Alabama, and provide insurance coverage meeting the specified minimums. All bids are submitted via the Alabama Buys supplier portal.
• Perform a comprehensive roof inspection at each listed facility once per year and submit a detailed report (PDF/Word) within 10 business days.
• Conduct follow‑up inspections as needed, reporting results within 5 business days.
• Supply all inspection equipment, qualified personnel, and adhere to OSHA/NFPA safety standards; provide liability, workers’ compensation, and automobile insurance certificates with the bid.
