Description
The City of Saco is seeking a vendor to provide a complete packaged plant water system—including design‑matched pumps, variable‑frequency drives, skid‑mounting, and full field commissioning—as part of its Water Resource Recovery Facility upgrade. The contract also requires on‑site field services for inspection, startup supervision, and operator training, plus a performance bond equal to the contract amount. The project is funded through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and is subject to prevailing‑wage, AIS, and tax‑exempt requirements. Interested firms must submit a single PDF proposal electronically by the October 20 deadline.
• Supply one (1) packaged plant water system built to spec 11215 and Tighe & Bond design drawings.
• Provide on‑site field services for installation, testing, and training.
• Deliver a performance/supply bond equal to the total contract value.
• Must comply with Davis‑Bacon wage rates, AIS requirements, and Maine tax exemption for permanently incorporated materials.
