Description
The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking a qualified waste management firm to provide comprehensive waste, recycling, and compost hauling services for the zoo's Forest Park and WildCare Park locations. The contract will be for an initial term of two years, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods. The successful contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment, containers, labor, vehicles, materials, and supervision necessary to perform these services in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing and maintaining containers in good condition
• Complying with safety protocols and site access requirements
• Correcting missed pickups within 24 hours
• Maintaining current insurance certificates
• Providing monthly service reports and quarterly diversion reports
• Participating in a pre-bid meeting and site visit.
