Marathon County Solid Waste Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide leachate hauling services for its landfill leachate system from January 1 2027 through December 31 2029 (a three‑year term). The contractor will operate pumping stations per the Plan of Operation, transport leachate from on‑site storage tanks to designated wastewater treatment facilities (Village of Plover, City of Stevens Point, or City of Medford), and bill the County on a per‑gallon basis. Marathon County will maintain load‑out stations and cover treatment costs. Bidders must submit a qualification statement showing at least two prior hauling projects and provide references. The estimated daily leachate volume is 50,000 gal (up to 80,000 gal in wet weather).
