VA Palo Alto Autopsy Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking autopsy services for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. The selected contractor will be required to provide preliminary anatomical diagnosis within three business days and a final autopsy diagnosis report within sixty business days. The contractor will also be responsible for transporting deceased patients to and from the VA Palo Alto facility. • The contractor must provide a physician to perform autopsies and provide reports to the VAMC. • The contractor must transport deceased patients to and from the VA Palo Alto facility. • The contractor must provide a final autopsy diagnosis report within sixty business days. • The contractor must fax copies of the final autopsy diagnosis report to the VAPAHCS Laboratory Director. • The contractor must mail original reports to the VAMC at the specified address.
