Capacity as A Service (CaaS)

The Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region – Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR-RCO) is conducting market research to identify small business vendors capable of providing Capacity as a Service (CaaS) to support its Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) core infrastructure, laboratory environments, and data centers. The CaaS solution should deliver scalable computing, networking, and storage resources tailored to mission requirements. Key features and requirements include: * On-premise solution with modular, enterprise-grade capacity solutions * Support for various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and VMware * High-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable storage solutions * Enterprise-grade SAN switching solutions with modular and fixed-port switches * Compute hardware capabilities with multiple performance tiers * Network hardware capabilities with modular and fixed-port switches * Interoperability and integration support with existing Government platforms and environments. The Government is seeking information on industry's ability to provide a fixed-discount structure tied to a contractor's most current, published Commercial Catalog. Responses should address the extent to which industry can furnish equivalent or improved items that meet or exceed the functional requirements of the existing inventory.
