Description
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is seeking a licensed plumbing contractor to provide on‑call repair, installation, maintenance, and remodeling services at its headquarters complex in Baltimore for a two‑year period (or until total payments are exhausted). The contractor must hold a Maryland Master Plumber license, maintain a qualified crew of at least two journeyman plumbers, respond to routine calls within 48 hours and emergency calls within 3 hours, and submit “not‑to‑exceed” estimates prior to work. Work is performed Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑5 pm, with overtime rates for after‑hours and holiday service. The contract is fixed‑price, with hourly labor rates and material cost markup capped at 10 %. The award will go to the lowest responsive bidder that meets all qualification, insurance, and small‑business‑reserve requirements.
