Description
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide assistance with Provider Reimbursement Technical Assistance (PRTA) activities related to Medicaid healthcare business initiatives and work activities. The selected vendor will provide expert assistance and consultation, operational assistance, and liaison support to ODM. The scope of work includes major hospital-related payment and modeling analytics, rebasing, and recalibration, as well as analysis of non-institutional provider payments. The vendor will also provide advice on best practices, identify and quantify risks, challenges, and opportunities, and suggest ways to leverage specific opportunities and initiatives to accomplish larger Ohio, ODM, and administrative goals.
• The vendor will provide assistance with the design, development, and implementation of reimbursement reform initiatives.
• The vendor will provide analysis and recommendations on federal statutes and regulations.
• The vendor will provide assistance with negotiations with key stakeholders, including federal agencies.
• The vendor will provide evaluation, planning, negotiation, and implementation of a modernized, streamlined approach to Medicaid reimbursement.
• The vendor will provide assistance with the analysis of Medicaid populations, costs, programs, and initiatives.
• The vendor will provide recommendations about the program/service’s significance, value, worth, or quality.
