Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace Chiller #7 and pumps at the VA Hospital. The project includes demolishing the existing chiller, removing it from the roof, and hauling it off-site. The contractor will also need to set up a crane, provide labor and equipment, and install a new chiller and pumps. The project requires the contractor to provide material and labor to pipe up the new chiller, upgrade the existing 400amp feed to 500A, and install 120V power to butterfly valve actuators.
• The contractor must provide a new York Chiller Air Cooled Screw Chiller - Model: YVAA0213.
• The contractor must provide two new pumps, which should be approx. 500 gpm at 70 ft head.
• The contractor must provide labor and material to insulate new chiller piping and pump piping.
• The contractor must provide a site visit on 03/30/2026 at 1pm Central Time Zone (CT).
• The contractor must submit questions by 04/07/2026 and quotes by 04/13/2026.
