Mission Video Distribution System (MVDS) Services

The Air Combat Command (ACC) is seeking industry sources for a requirement to provide Mission Video Distribution System (MVDS) services. The MVDS is an enterprise video service that ingests, processes, disseminates, archives, and retrieves multiple sensor sources and full motion video feeds to support military operations. The contractor will provide engineering and technical support, field service representatives, and a skilled team to provide technical reach back, systems engineering, software development, and system test and verification. The contractor will also provide MVDS training to 9AF (AFCENT) personnel. • The MVDS system resides at Shaw Air Force Base (AFB), S.C. and Al Udeid Air Base (AB), Qatar. • The system provides enterprise video services to global users. • The solution is an end-to-end solution from the desktop to the backend infrastructure that incorporates presentation, application, network product support, hardware, and storage virtualization technologies. • The contractor will maintain government-provided servers and meet intelligence architecture requirements. • The contractor will perform MVDS related repair, patch, fix, or replacement of existing hardware and software. • The contractor will maintain all MVDS related databases required by the system and user base.
