Request for Qualifications (RFQ) - Town of Carthage - Needmore Water System Improvements

The Town of Carthage is seeking qualification submittals from Engineering firms to perform professional services, including preparation of engineered plans, specifications, and related documents, for the funding assistance, design, project coordination, construction management, and general project oversight for numerous projects to be funded with a state appropriation. The proposed improvements include water treatment plant (WTP) improvements, pump modifications, water-main replacements, and sanitary sewer pump station modifications. The selected firm will be responsible for all planning, design, permitting, bid management, construction administration, and funding administration needed to complete the work in compliance with state and local requirements. Key aspects of the project include: • WTP improvements • Pump modifications • Water-main replacements (approximately 1,505 linear feet) • Sanitary sewer pump station modifications • Funding assistance and administration • Design, permitting, and construction oversight The Town of Carthage is seeking a firm with experience in similar projects, and the selection criteria will include the firm's recent experience, knowledge, and familiarity with similar projects, as well as their ability to meet schedules and maintain regulatory requirements.
